Step 5: Cleaning and Sanitizing

Once the water is removed and the space is dehumidified it's now time to clean and sanitize the property. At this point we're moving away from restoration and we're looking to begin finishing the project. The goal always at SERVPRO is to leave properties with the impression that nothing happened. In fact, our motto captures this, "Like it never even happened."

For us, a finished project is a project that is clean and livable.

Remediation and restoration work is reconstruction work. And reconstruction in every way, building, cutting, removing, installing and finishing. In the midst of all this work dust and left over material tells the story about all the work that was accomplished. We do not leave the project here, we work to make sure a property is fit for living and working.
